St. Peter the Apostle Graduation May 22, 2008

St. Peter the Apostle School held its graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 22nd. Among the honor graduates was Davis Remler. Davis looked so handsome in his new coat, on which he wore his lapel pins that he got last week at the awards night. Father O'Brien was tickled when Davis presented him with a box full of candy to replace the candy bars Father has been giving out all year to the eighth graders. After a trolley ride to the Savannah Yacht Club for a class picture, the eighth grade hosted a dinner for parents and relatives in St. Peter's new parish center. The eighth grade also presented Father O'Brien with a rocking chair with a St. Peter the Apostle Crest engraved in the back.

Finally, each year the St. Peter's principal chooses one student in the eighth grade who best exemplifies service and school spirit. This year's winner was Davis Remler. His award was a lovely silver plate box with his name engraved on it. We are so proud of him!

Nancy and Davis Take a Bite Out of the Big Apple

The Top of the Rock, the World Trade Center Tribute Museum, Dylan's Candy Bar, Central Park, SUNY Maritime College, four Broadway shows, Pier 17, Battery Park. Nancy and Davis got all the goodie out of Manhattan and a little bit of the Bronx. We shopped, ate, toured, biked, sailed boats, hooked up with friends, and shopped and ate some more. We had a big, big time.
