When we learned the fifth grade was producing a performance of The Sound of Music, Lawson immediately told us that he hoped he'd be in charge of props. ess Mrs. Fonseca didn't need me to make a costume!So tonight at 7:00, Stephen and I took JoJo and PopPop to the parish center to see Lawson's big debut. He did an excellent job. He spoke his lines clearly. Then he sat on stage and minded his own business. No one can ever accuse Lawson of being a ham.

No, he doesn't sing. In fact, he would prefer NOT to be in the spotlight at all. So he was a good sport for playing Uncle Max for two nights.
